The screen shots are of Maya, this is the Fusion 360 forums.

In Maya to select single verts just right click on your mesh and hold it to open the quick select menu, mouse over vertices and release. now your in vertex edit mode and can select verts.

I cant figure out how to select a loop of edges.

Here is a simple model that I would like to fillet the edges on, I can select each edge one by one and do it.

Just wondering if there is a way to select all the way around the model on more complex models. I hear you can just double click on an edge, but when i do it it selects the whole body.

Here is the link to the model: https://a360.co/2sO06Af

Thanks in advance.

Double clicking on an edge to select an edge loop only works in csculpt mode because only in sculpt mode do you have edge loops.

In HTe model environment you can simply window select those edges. In your model you can rotate the object so you can window select only the top edges so you can fillet only those.

Usually the fillet tool selects a tangent chain and then that selects a number of edges, but in your model there are not tangents 😉

Are you still there, I've heard that you solved the last problem with edge loops. I have been trying to get a solution to this problem I am having. I am trying to select individual verticies on edge loops. I haven't been able to select just one. This is holding me up on multiple projects...I will attach a screenshot. And if you get that one I am trying to insert a picture that will merge with the ocean to make it look complete...second screenshot

Please Fusion team, please create an edge loop functionality like in 3DS max!
Since people constantly chamfer and fillet (on sometimes very complex shapes) that simple functionality/shortcut would save so much valuable time!

Re-Hello, I don't have access to 3ds max either it was almost a decade ago, but I just found a video showing it (it starts at 1min46sec) and it was so useful when it came to chamfer edges.
The video : https://youtu.be/gXg0KNm1nCE?t=106
If there could be an option to do so, perhaps like a shortcut or on right clicking an edge or somewhere in the select dropdown, I know I would use that on a lot of the bodies I make.
I am thankful about the fact that you are even considering looking at it. So thank you for that and have a good day

This cannot work the same way in a CAD application.

In a polygon modeler this also only works when you work with quad meshes.

In a CAD application you work mostly with trimmed NURBS surfaces that are stitched into a solid bodies (BRep).

That doesn't mean it couldn't be made to work, but it isn't as trivial as it is in a polygon modeler.
