topic Attach a canvass to an irregular shaped object in Fusion Design, Validate & Document Forum

I am placing tiles on a fireplace and I want to use a canvass for the color of each tile. (Note that right now I am only using one image, but in the end, I want each tile to have its own image.) If I place a canvas on a tile -- which I have created from a box -- and that tile has a notch cut out in it for a vent, then the canvass covers the original size of the tile. In this case the tile was 12 inches square, but I extruded a sketch to cut the tiles where any vent exists. So now the tile is notched, but the canvas covers the size of the original square. Is there a way to have the canvas just cover the object as cut?

I think you will be better served by setting up a Material Appearance that contains your image.

Very cool! Thank you. I didn't know that was an option. I will use that for several other things as well. In this case, I have 30 different pictures I was hoping on putting on screen and arranging to be the most aesthetic for my fireplace. Fusion360 is not the best program for this I'm sure, but it is the one I use to design mechanical things and so I know it better than anything else -- but obviously not all that well<g>.
