Dxf it should say Fml! Help...

Can someone please help.... I have a Baileigh cnc plasma it's came with a program called Ucancam (absolute rubbish) cuttting in the wrong places so with no help frem Baileigh in the US I can only assume that is the problem. I am not experienced in any cad programs so I thought if I get a decent program (fusion 360) draw it there import it to Ucancam then export it to the usb the goes in the cnc plasma??? And once i have a drawing how do I transfer it to a dxf file so I can export to my cnc??? Any help please it's been 11 months trying to this to work.

I think you want -

select the sketch in the browser, in the menu, half way down, there is

Save as DXF.

select that, and save it to your hard drive.

Might help...

After exporting the dxf make sure to check it using another software.

I'd have to check if there's free software that allows you to do so.

What you want to see in the dxf is just the outline or paths you want the plasma cutter to cut. No dashed lines, dimensions etc.

I was advised that "If you would like to us fusion 360 you can, you would
need to contact them to see if they could create a post set for the
machine. They should be able to do that. Then you can use that software for
everything"
