Displaced Control Matrix

Attempting to locate the Control Matrix in the Sculpt workspace, selecting "Set Pivot" then clicking on a point relocates the Controls to an offset location distant from my selection. What's going on? Is this a bug- or something I've done but don't understand? Any insight will be appreciated. See the accompanying Screencast for a demonstration.

I was unable to reproduce this error. you can see the image below that the pivot is where it exactly needs to be. If you can share your file I can confirm this

Hey mavigogun,

It looks like the manipulator is grabbing the control frame, and that might be where the problem is. Can you post an export here? It might be useful for a bug report.
