Sweep changes when closing edit.

EDIT: Sort of solved. The sweep would not sweep top to bottom, but from below it worked. Original post: When editing this sweep it looks ok. If I close edit, it will change. What is going on?

It's hard to say this is a bug entirely. Sweep is giving errors with this geometry, most operations are blocked. This is partially due to extracting the coil edge from a primitive. It's not your fault that sweep is in deep water here.

I tried a few workarounds. Surface sweep, and an eventual Boundary Fill operation, seem like a promising way forward. I don't have time to complete it, nor is it obvious what the end state is going to be. But this gets you something more.

I will notify the team that works on sweep.

I edited my original post with the solution: to begin from the bottom. Then it worked. I can even overlap the sweep and it should not be possible, To me it was a bug, because when examining the problem the original sweep went into symmetric mode, sending my start point to the middle of the sweep, also causing multiple attempts where I got the alarm that it is overlapping itself.

Yes, it is this spring. I had this image and original drawings as reference. Though, everything has to be modified and compromises has to be made since it is a very small scale. Please post a video, because it is always nice to see how other users approach things.
