Variable pattern

Hello everyone,

I found a post on Reddit, discussing how one could duplicate a design in Fusion. The design is the following:

Someone in the comments gave a solution, but with OnShape. Their solution was to use a variable, which defines the height of the outer point of the first fin. I was able to recreate it as well in OnShape, but it left me wondering how someone could achieve this in Fusion? As far as I know, Fusion unfortunately doesn't support patterns with changing variables. Is there a way to mimic this or would I need to take another route?

I am sorry if I didn't phrase my question right, but I wanted to know if there is a way to mimic this specific OnShape function. I know that there are many other ways to solve this problem.

I don’t think it exists in Fusion, but you also did not provide any detail describing how it works in OnShape.

Indeed and much to my dismay, this does not exist in Fusion.
