Extude 100 Cube by 1mm , Then extuding each by +1 by before one .

(There must be ,a Way . I will dig in more . )

Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to do this:

1. A line with length of 100mm

2. create 100 cube along that line

3. cube 1: 1mm x 1mm x 1mm, cube 2:, 1mm x 1mmx 2mm, cube 3: 1mm x 1mm x 3mm, and so on

4. the formula is generate each cube that is 1mm taller than the previous cube

Is it possible to do something like this in Fusion 360? I'd hate to sketch 100 cubes by hand...

The short answer is: No - Fusion 360 can't do this.

The long answer is: You might be able to sketch on object, extrude it and than you can use Fusion Sheeter to generate new Designs. But this is only a (not so handy) workaround.

Sure - that's how FusionSheeter was created. It might be a good starting point, too. It uses a practical framework, shows the handling of variables etc.

Another solution (with additional costs) might be Autodesk Dynamo. I really would like to use it. But just for my hobby - out of scope.
