Hi,

I've got a miniature model of a soccer goalkeeper. His shirt and torso were modelled seperately, which has created small voids in the object that are making it hard to 3d print. I would like to make the whole thing solid, with no gaps or voids. Screen record attached. I can't get boundary fill or various combinations of split/combine to the desired result. Any guidance would be greatly appreciataed.

Thankyou.

Can you share the model?

My initial guess is that you are better off to delete the internal voids of the mesh body before converting it to a solid. I can say more once I have the model.

Fusion is not the right software to solve this problem!

Your best option is Autodesk Meshmixer and the make Edit-> Make Solid option.

Play with the parameters to get the result you're looking for:

Some degradation is quality is to be expected as tis model already is low poly.

Amazing, thankyou. This looks much closer to what I need. I'll have a confirm the solution.

This worked, thanks so much, I used meshmixer to manually close the bottom of the shirt, then deleted all the internal mesh, and repaired.
