Hello everyone,
I'm new to the help forum. I only use fusion for myself to draw fun things. Now I'm busy drawing our own ship, but now the head doesn't work out the way I would like.

I made 2 videos of how I think it should be done, but it doesn't grab the 2 bottom rails. I also attach some photos of what it actually looks like.

thank you very much for responding. but do you have a suggestion how I connect the bottom frame to the rail? because that is how the drawing of the ship is from the original drawing. I have added the file

Like this? (Despite the sketches as supplied)

Modified some of the sketches to get this close, but (opinion) I don't think they were all that accurate to start with.

First I would halve your work and do one half for a mirror to complete.

Second Check the geometry. Your top hull side rails are not tangent connected from front to back - are separate line/curves in a 3d sketch. The vertical profile in Sketch 11 should not be needed, but the rails as described are a direct reason for it.

My work was not included in the component so you can work out the timeline.

Might help...

yes, this is certainly starting to look like it. the head of the ship is just a bit more rounded under the overhanging part. like the real live photos in the beginning of this story. the line that runs from the point under the head should be a bit more rounded. I try to convey it in a photo ''Screenshot 1''.

You are right about drawing 11. that was actually a drawing to create an intermediate stop for me from trying LOFT. because the vertical line in drawing 11 is much the straightest. in practice it is indeed moor round overflowing.

and after this was successful I hoped I could simply use fillet on the corners of the ship. but that doesn't work ''Screenshot 2 & 3''.

Loft is finicky, but to get what you need you have to supply the framework.

Added another Rail sketch, fixed the bow fillet. Obviously tweaking the new rail position and size of the fillet, will help remove the new crease.

Might help...
