Hello and thank you for reading.

I have followed the directions found on this board as well as the video that is provided, showing how to save a design created in Fusion for 3d print.

I right click on the file name in the tree and export to .stl

choose the high settings and export.

However when I open in S3D, the part looks great, when I click on the "preview" option in S3D, this is the type of thing that I see. This is a simple knob for a soundboard. (please see attached image)

I have tried to do repairs in S3D and nothing changed. I opened in 3D builder since it typically finds errors automatically and I can just save it.

I have also tried to repair in other programs but all it does is degrade the model.

What am I doing wrong? Thank you very much for any guidance.

If the STL is fine wherever you open it,

then it is S3D print settings, and to me is not enough plastic.

Might help....

I saw the picture,

missing layers,

first flange area is fine, what layer height and extrusion multiplier?

Test print it anyway, see if the extruder stops when the preview says it will.

I can check stuff here if you zip up

the s3d factory file,

the Fusion stl,

with the fusion f3d file.

The only time I have seen that in S3D, was for 0.25 layer height, some glitch at that setting, but 0.24 was OK.
