Hi, brand new to fusion 360.

Picture two rectangles standing on top of each other by the length edge. I want to bow out the top one in the middle. Basically a potbelly.

I can make 2 arcs with offset but then it leaves the empty hole where it bows out.

I want top rectangle to lean out a little as well as being bowed.

Thanks

Create a sketch on (or at) the front face plane.

Draw the curved profile.

Create a sketch on the back face.

Draw the straight profile (rectangle).

Loft between the two profiles.

sorry, cant get it to work at all with out bowing out the bottom rectangle as well.

Sketched the overhead profile of the top half with arc and lines on front face. Sketched rectangle on back face. Loft gives me an error no matter what i try.

Im assuming i need to extrude both of the sketches. When i do this and try to loft it it makes the entire thing bowed out, not just the top 30 percent or so.

Sorry for not understanding your directions.

Ive attached a picture of two of my attempts.

Same file, Loft body turned off, for clarity.

2 sketches, then Loft them.

You can use the front and back of your current model as the sketch planes instead of creating a new offset plane.
