I cannot move a sketch. Help please?

Sometimes I can use the Move command to move or rotate a sketch. Sometimes I can manipulate the move controls but the sketch remains the same. Nothing happens. This is what is happening now.

I want to actually move the sketch. Not just the arrows and "move" controls.
Additionally I am pressing Enter at the moment shown, but nothing happens. At the time I took this screen shot I had hit the Enter button repeatedly.
Can someone please illuminate this situation?

Here's what's happening: when 3D Sketching, auto Constraints and Projections attach the Sketch to the geometry like a limpet to a rock. Adjusting the Selection Filter to Sketch Geometry Constraints, and Window Selecting all the target Sketch Elements isn't enough to free the Sketch. Moreover, I have all Autoproject options toggled off. The only way I was able to free Sketch elements was to click and hold over every Point, Delete any free Points, Constraints, and Projection Links to those Points. It's seriously dysfunctional. I use "dysfunctional" as unsatisfying alternative to vulgarity.

@dtejan, the rules are pretty simple:

Projected geometry cannot be Moved (translated, rotated, or moved from the sketch plane), by definition. Projected geometry is defined to be the projection of the selected items onto the sketch plane, so it makes no sense to move this off the sketch plane. If you want to move this geometry, use Break Link on that geometry
there is one special point in a sketch - the 2D sketch origin. This point, also, by definition, cannot be Moved. And, of course, geometry attached to that point cannot be moved, unless you break the coincident constraint to that point.

Every other geometry should be able to be moved using the Move command, specifying Sketch Objects in the Move Objects input to Move (which is the only choice when you are in sketch mode). If this means that sketch constraints get violated, they will be removed.

This does not apply to dragging. Dragging sketch is defined to be a "constrained drag" operation - all sketch constraints will be obeyed, and you cannot drag 2D sketch geometry out of the sketch plane.

Unfortunately, during my test, Projected Points were hidden- as were the Link indicators. Right clicking on a stack of Points did not yield a Break Link option; to locate the invisible Projection Points, the nexus of each Line group required a click-and-hold, then menu selection, then Deletion of each Point after searching the stack for the right one. Moreover, the Autoprojected Points appeared white when selected, bearing no colouration denoting Projection.

Nor does window selecting the entire element cluster and right-clicking yield any sign of the Projections, nor capacity to Break Link.

agreed that a geometry stack can be a pain to deal with. I usually just use Select Other, and hunt for the projected geometry the hard way.

I agree, though, that the Break Link command should be available for a mixed selection. Today, the logic is: if the entire selection set is projected, then show Break Link. A better approach would be: If any projected geometry is selected, show Break Link. There would be no harm in executing Break Link on a normal sketch curve.

hold on, my last post is incorrect. This is how Fusion works today. A mixed selection will show Break Link. So, it is pretty easy to select everything, do Break Link and then Move. We must have fixed that along the way, and I never realized it.

I guess I learned something today. That means I can quit for the day, I guess...
