Question about giving thickness to mesh

Hello everyone,

in the first place thanks to everyone in this forum for the useful responses.

So I'm trying to make a solid from a mesh made with photogrammetry. I was trying to "extrude to a plane" so that I can make like a box under the mesh. It would be to make a a 3d print out of it.

Fusion 360 is not the best software to work with scanned, triangulated meshes. Autodesk Meshmixer is more suitable for what you want to do.

In that case, how could I make that into a solid? It's not scuared as you can see. Or is there any other post/video where this was solved?

If the only thing you want to do with that object is to 3D print it, then that can be done in Meshmixer.

Trying to create. a BRep of such an object is associated wit a number of challenges that can also be addressed with Fusion 360 to a degree, but it really depends on your end goal.

I was tinkering with Meshmixer and got to make it with the Extrude option and then cutting it with a plane. Thanks anyway for fast helping me.
