What makes you believe that?

This is a very under constrained sketch. Extrude is the wrong tool for this geoemetry, at lest when observing the sketch.
You can patch and stitch this with the surface modeling tools.

My recommendation would be to recreate this from scratch with fully defined 2D sketches.

Hello,

I had to create this odd object in 3d sketch. it has a number of different dimensions, non constrained.

I generally can use basic tools to manage extrusion of the equalised surfaces. this one is a cracker. Any advise is appreciated.

You can use Surfaces and the Patch command to close in the sides. You make it a solid using the Stitch command. Not sure what you want to do with the Circle, but if it is to be a hole, you can Extrude it now to the depth or through. Model attached.

out of curiosity, where are you trying to go with this? is the intent really for there to be 179.9 degrees between these 2 faces, or is this the result of difficulty with 3d sketches?

While there is no single right way to do it, I typically like to break down geometry creation into several features so that changes to the design don't become too difficult. Attaching the model I created.
