how do i fix oval holes after scaling?

Hi, this is my first project and it's been fun hacking my way through it. I want to plasma cut this out. So this started as a svg. I had to scale non uniform to make it taller and my headlights turned into ovals. How can i make them circles again? Or delete and add circles? I've tried a couple crazy things, But then fusion crashed so i came here. Also I would like to redo this project in the future and make it parametric.

How would i go about tracing it like a canvas so i can make it parametric in the future? thank you.

try to deselect the circle when you are scaling the full body.

Thanks for the help i'll try it out when i get home. What would be the best way to trace it like a canvas? So i could make it parametric then enter it back in to my assembly.

Cant deselect cause I need the outside also. What's the best plan of attack for tracing it?

Hi,

Load the image into Inkscape and scale it differently for both axes.

Then I would vectorize the image in Inkscape.

Hi @nocturnalwelding i think you have to make circles as new component then you can deselect them when you are scaling.

Hi,

The original aspect ratio was changed when copying this picture.
Either you look for a new one or you use an app that corrects the aspect ratio.

The easy way would be to scale your original drawing using the same value for X and Y. Fill the unused area with a simple pattern.

Ok round 1 Beyond force method. It's midnight and i finally get to play with fusion. I deleted everything on the one side with the help of your vid and sketched out and pulled a new headlight. Im no artist but wanted your guys feedback on how it turned out. If it stil looks wierd i'll try the inkscape method. Since i have even less time in inkscape than i do in fusion it seems like it might be a harder route.

It looks good. But of course, it depends on how it fits with the original sketch?
