&lt;P&gt;Thanks for posting! For this type of motion, you'll need to use either a motion link or contact sets in Fusion 360. I believe &lt;A href="https://www.autodesk.com/campaigns/inventor-trial-center/dynamic-simulation" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Dynamic Simulation in Inventor&lt;/A&gt; may have some options as well.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Friction joint?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have sliding centre rod that will probably by driven by friction between it and two rotating "wings" either side.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I know I can use motion links for this.&amp;nbsp; Is there any magic that can simulate friction between these parts though?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Contact sets are another possibility, but too expensive for my taste.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
