I need to restrict the RED part to be pulled into the YELLOW part ... HOW ?

I have this folding mattress but try pull in the TOP of the red part and un-fold it - you can pull it too long into the yellow part !!!!

How can this be prevented ?

try adding a motion link. select the joint rev 3 and then select rev 6. dialog box will look like this-

I don't get you - adding a motion link ... where ?

When adding a motion link I can't select Rev3 as one of the selections ...

What feature is it the dialog you're showing ?

Motion Link is a tool available under the Assemble menu.

BUT ...

you just accepted the angles=360 and axes=Z

I experimented a little with the angles and axes ... what are the function of these ... I don't think it's obvious to see

... or do I misunderstand something ?
