working with stl's converted to b-reps is always chancy. You won't be able to convert to faces into anything you can meaningfully edit, but it's probable that if you select all the faces inside the hole and delete them, that the model will heal to a solid. Then you can create a new hole at what ever size you want.

if you export and attach your file someone can show you.

Hello all,

I'm very new to Fusio 360 and have a question about working on holes of a mesh converted to brep.

I would like to enlarge the holes, but because of the converted stl, there are a lot of facetes in the holes (see screenshot below).

How can I combinate the facetes to a solid wall, so that i can enlarge the holes?

I hope you understand what i mean and can give me some help.

Best regards,

Nico

@laughingcreek

Thank you. I have try it your way and it worked well.

The only thing is that you don't really know the original center of the original hole after removing all the facetes.

I hope some day Fusio can handle this kind of facetes and are able to create a solid wall based of the facetes in a hole.

Once again thank you for your solution!

You could project the edges of the hole to a sketch before removing the faceted faces. then you wold have a history of where things were.
