Producing a circular pattern from 3 faces

I have drawn a pipe with a flange and would like to add 4 triangular strengthening.webs at 90 deg to each other to support the flange.

I have drawn one web but get an error if I select the 3 faces of the web and try to produce a circular pattern.

You can simply pattern the feature that you have used to create the web. Here is an example.

Your example is almost identical to mine.

I can select the 3 faces and produce the 4 webs but then I get asked to specify an axis. I have tried the main central axis and the diameter that touched all 4 webs and that's when I get an error message.

I managed to make the model public but for some reason the web I'd drawn doesn't show.

patterning faces isn't going to work B/C your "rib" is currently a separate body. You can change your pattern type to "body", or you set the extrude used to make the rib to "join" instead of "new body".

Many thanks for that, I changed from faces to body and it worked. Very grateful to all who helped.
