slow processing of a component design

I am working online. For some days my project assembly got very slow. An I could not find the cause of that. Somewhere is Fusion helps I found that maybe that graphics software could have a part of that. I reinstalled NVIDIA Geoforce Experience. Further emptying the cache would be an option. So I did that also. I started a simplified assembly and cleaned one of the components. After some useful changes, one of the components went again very slow and therefore also the assembly.

Changing to offline has accelerated the proces a bit more.

What to do now?

The design you shared only contains a single body and creates a waring message upon opening:

That broken assembly context also shows up in the browser.

I don't see any reason for this simple object to result in a 76+MB file size when exported!

I then deleted the broken assembly context and exported the design again, resulting in the same large file and it also took longer than expected.

@Phil.E I think there's something "fishy" going on with that assembly context.

If there is no parametric link to the old design or assembly, and there doesn't appear to be any, export this as a step file and then import it again.

As for what's going on with this particular design, I can't tell. I'll send this to the assembly team.

Hi! I took a quick look. This design seems to be corrupted. There is a Configuration table associated with it but the design itself isn't shown as a Configuration. Also, there seems to be a much more elaborated model in the design that is no longer shown. If we know how to reproduce the corruption from scratch, it will be very helpful to finding a fix.

A STEP -file would be an option,but I do not see how to modify that file.

Hi,

Plate X is part of Assembly Plate X, and that assembly is part of the parent Clock.

I have disassembled Assembly Plate X from Clock and have cleaned assigned errors.

Then I have looked after Plate A and Assembly Plate A. Since something makes processing still rather slow, I hereby sent the file Assembly Plate X V7.f3z.
