Leader dimension will not point properly

This should be simple but I can't get it to work.

This is a drawing from a 3D Fusion model and I want to identify something by means of a leader dimension, but it just won't do it.

Any suggestions as to what to do please?

I'm rather surprised that this query has attracted no response at all.

Is it a bug, have I done something stupid, or what?

Unlike a model, I can't find a way to upload the drawing, but the screencaste shows the problem.

Does nobody know how to fix the problem?

I experimented a bit when you first posted but couldn't get what you're seeing. Think the only way you'll get help is if you can share the design, you only need a share link for the 2d drawing, the model will be included in the download.

PS If you want to be really helpful download the 2d drawing from your online dashboard as an f3z file and upload here to save people the hassle of using a share link.

~~Just remembered the latest update lets you export 2d drawings from the file menu. You'll get a link to download the fz3 when it's ready.~~

Scrub that. Looks like they were lying in the latest What's New. Just tried and it doesn't work. @jeff_strater Is there something I'm doing wrong? Assemblies can be exported as fz3 but 2d drawings don't seem to work.

@HughesTooling , you're not doing anything wrong. The new export command only works for the F3D designs, not for drawings... You still have to go with the Output dropdown on the right end of the toolbar.

@jeff_strater Export of 2d drawings came up in another thread as well, the What's New seems to be wrong.

" If you have 2D Drawings and x-ref’d designs in your assembly, you get a F3Z option instead of F3D, which will include your associated drawings and x-ref’d parts as part of the export."

@lemelman I can't use your link as I blocked some sites from Amazon that were used to generate phishing ads on eBay. Can you download the fz3 yourself and attach it to this thread.

Sorry, I'm lost.

All I have is the 3D model, and the 2D drawing; no xrefs (as far as I know). I've tried everything I can think of, but cannot see any outputs other than f3d for the model and PDF, DWG, and CSV for the drawing. I can't find an f3z option anywhere.

If you click the link you provided it will take to an online viewer. Top right there should be an option to download, if not you need to enable downloads from the link. Just pick download Fusion Archive. You can also download from your online dashboard.

Click the version of the design in the data panel and select View details online, you can download the archive from there.

I'm sorry to be such a nuisance, but I must be doing, or have done, something wrong because your instructions don't work for me.
