Pattern features fail to update

Fusion is acting funky and inconsistent. Hoping someone can shed some light on what's going on.

I'm making a box with a mesh inside. I want the size of the box and the mesh panels to be automatically generated when I change the "row" and "column" parameters.

I'm using the rectangle pattern tool to repeat holes and notches in the box and mesh according to how many rows and columns are set.

Things were good at first, but I'm finding as I near the end of my project, the calculations in my project are acting all wonky. When I change the row and column values, there's about a 60% chance the box won't generate the way it's suppose to.

If I undo the incorrect change, and then make the exact same change again, it will sometimes generate properly. But often times, I have to edit the failing pattern, delete the formula I'm using for the quantity (example, "row - 1") and then use the EXACT same formula, and it will work just fine (until the next time I try to change the size of the box).

My sketch that dictates the size of the box will also report an error, and the dimensions will appear in red until I cut and paste the formula into itself and it updates properly.

So there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my formulas, and everything works correctly if I manually update the patterns, but that's extremely tedious to do. If I'm missing something I'd love to know what's going on. (I've tried the three compute options to no avail)

Okay, here's the file.

You only need to play with the row and column parameters to see the problem (though nether of them should ever be set to 1)

When you edit a pattern, all you need to do is replace any of the fields with what was already there for it to calculate properly.

Also note, there are way more patterns than should be required due to an application crashing bug I needed to work around. (Anytime pattern quantity is set to row or column, the program crashes. So I needed to set it to row -1, and then make an extra pattern to fill in the missing feature)
