Can not join two bodies that are coincident (or at least look like they are)

I am trying to extend an STL for a tapo camera holder and I am stuck on the last part.

When I try to combine the two bodies, I get this error

My knowledge is really limited and I am not able to find where exactly the problem lies. How could I debug or find out where exactly is the problem and how to fix it?

I tried just combined them into a component and export the component but the 3D printer said the generated STL was not water tight.

Your model is attached. The bodies were not quite touching.

Did you just tried moving it or did some tool help you know what exactly was the Problem?

No tool was used, just moved the body a very little bit together.
