    <description>&lt;P&gt;It would be great if I could use Fusion 360 to design automata. It would save a huge amount of time and material. A pretty common component of such devices are cams. How would you create such motion in Fusion? I suspect it is a combination between the motion link and contact sets. But I can not seem to figure out. How to use them together. Sample file is attached&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Cams can be modelled and animated rather more simply than the Mangler.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Contact sets are performance hungry and have not been recommended.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Enable Contact sets.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For the sliders, you need to know the maximum drop.&amp;nbsp; Set Joint limit, to the maximum drop plus a bit more,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;set the rest position to that same value.&amp;nbsp; The Slider 4, was -7.xxx mm, so I set it to -8 mm.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When setting Joint limits the smaller number must be in to the top limit box, as shown.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Cmsldr.PNG" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/668455iE85C0B48C5939275/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="Cmsldr.PNG" alt="Cmsldr.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Animate the Rev1, and the animation will be jerky but you can see the effect.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Rev3 Joint is misaligned (off centre)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Might help....&lt;/P&gt;</description>
