Can you upload the SVG here, usually when someone's got a "Simple" SVG it turns out to be made from a few thousand line segment and Fusion's sketch solver can't handle that much data.

Hey all, So ive imported a svg. its not even a big or complex one but If I try to edit anything it takes ages to compute. As in If I want to break a line or delete a line.

Does Fusion re-calculate the whole SVG each time you make a change?
Is there a way to convert the SVG into a normal sketch?

Have attached a sample .SVG which slows my system down considerably.
This time I Inserted it then created a new sketch and projected the bits I wanted and broke the projected link.
Then going back to trim sections and everytime I "Trim" a line it takes about 5 seconds to do. Then I just went to add a fillet to a couple of the sketch lines and it actually froze and crashed my Fusion session.

Maybe I just need a new laptop as it is a few years old now. Current specs are:
Alienware 15 R2
i7 4720HQ
16Gb Ram
GTX 970M

If you want to edit SVGs like this I'd find some other software as Fusion's not able to work with this much info, over 6,000 curves in this file.

Your best bet is edit in something like inkscape or maybe even QCad, import into fusion and extrude into a solid. Anything more than a few hundred lines is just not going to be editable in Fusion.
