Joint/Linkage Problem - Lever won't move

I'm learning about joints and working to test a fairly simple lever mechanism. My contact set is working but I can't push my lever down to pivot at the wheel, raising the other end of the lever. Can someone please explain why this is?

Also is there a way to keep the wheel tied to the floor but still allow it to roll that should solve my issue of the linkage assembly floating up on the slider joint.

It occured to me, right after I finished the video, that the easiest way to limit the handle from going through the floor, is to put a MIN limit on the same Slider6 joint that we already put the MAX limit on. This way you don't need any Contact Sets.

Hi Ben. Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my question. I just subscribed to your YouTube channel and look forward to learning more from your work there. I'm accepting chrisplyler's response because his pin slot suggestion showed how I can keep the wheel against the floor component. I really appreciate your post though.

I just wanted to show you that some Joint functionality won't work if you don't add limitation.
In regards to the Pin Slot, if it's doing what you need, then it's great 😃👍

Thanks chrisplylr. Your pin slot suggestion solved my mystery of the floating assembly. I recognize the value of identifying a way use limits rather than the CPU intensive contact set feature. I'll tinker with the MAX limit on the slider.
