Hello,

I am new to fusion 360 so please let me apology if I may say something obvious or silly.

What I am looking for is a procedure to design a low poly model in Fusion 360 (or importing it into it) and then exporting all the singles polygons that compose the model so to be able to cut them with a laser cutting machine (for the assembling them in real life).

Is there an intelligent way of doing it in Fusion 360?

Thank you very much for your help!

My very best,

Alessandro

Hey alessandro.vasapolli,

You can design solid models in F360, then use Slicer to make folded panel layouts: https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=8699194120463301363&os=Win64&appLang=en

Thank you very much, that's exactly what I needed.

One more question.

Let's say I have a cube where I have subtracted a hole on the top panel, not all the way throught.

How can I set slicer so that it would make just a single panel with a hole instead of making also all the little polygons that creates the border of the hole (in the depth) and the closing surface on the bottom of the hole?

Thank you very much!

Alessandro
