Create an object with parameters that define the sketch.

I am looking to create steel box templates IE 50x25x2.5 RHS. I want to create one sketch that when I insert it into projects I can just pick the size I want to use, can anyone point me in the correct direction, all help would be greatly appreciated. I am a hobbiest with very little experience with fusion 360, I have used Solidworks "Student Licence" and I am fed up trying to get a Student Licence each Year. I have over 30years experience using AutoCAD & I have created what I want in autoCAD.

All Help would be greatly received.

Hi,

Custom parameters allow you to control both sketches and other fatures.
Show an example of what you want to achieve.

Hi,,

I have no access to Fusion at the moment.

You can call the parameter table Modifier > Change Parameters.
In this table you enter the dimensions for wide, thickness, depth.

If you now measure the sketch, enter the first letter of the name instead of the value.
For the inner radius I used the thickness. For the outer diameter I have entered the thickness *2 (tickness*2).

If you want another profile just change the values of the parameters.

I have attached the different sizes, when i used Solidworks we had all the different sizes. what I want to know how to be able to select different sizes?

So I will have to make individual sizes and save as an individual part rather than having 1 part with different selectable sizes?
