I think your looking for "boundary fill" under the create menu. you'll need to close off the holes wit construction planes. attach is an example using your model.

Good afternoon,

Is there anyway to create a solid of the internal portion of a model?

I was able to do this using Spaceclaim in the past as long as the solid was water tight.

You could select the holes/shapes that cap the end of the internal area and it would create that cored solid.

Does Fusion360 do this?

I haven't figured it out.

I have figured out how to use the combine tool to subtract and create the cored/internal area if you already have the internal shape. But it would be nice if you could get existing solid automagically as Spaceclaim is able to do.

I have attached and example model, I would like to be able to create a solid from the internal holes through the solid.

TIA,

Nate

Not reviewed the file yet, quick tip to get you going, test the Boundary Fill Tool.

Water tight and a cavity, usually works.

Might help...
