How to confirm that CAD files were not imported?

Recently, I created a CAD model for a simple car for a class project. However, my design teacher thinks that I cheated, by importing files from the Internet. She thinks this because in the version history, for the first and only version, it shows the full model rather than the "steps". However, this is only because Fusion does not autosave, and I did not save while i was working, because I finished the quite simple model in one sitting. My teacher does not believe anything I say, and I do not know enough about the workings of Fusion 360(other than actual modeling) to make a good argument. Is there a way that I can prove to her that my work is indeed my own? (functions that fusion has, etc.)

The most obvious for me is, sketching in Fusion.

Most sketches imported will not have constraints and dimensions, and are made up of hundreds of short blue lines,

If your sketches are fully defined, black lines, has curves and splines in them, then that would be a big step.

Otherwise you are up the creek without a paddle, the Modelling side of things is similar in most products.

Did you use T-spline, because they are less generic.

Might help....

The obvious answer is to have you and your teacher sit at the computer and you create a model from scratch. It would be best if the teacher chose a different subject.

Hi,

From my point of view, there are two questions:
1. Has the "teacher" defined for the task in which form the "student" has to provide proof of independent performance?
2. In other words: Can the "teacher" prove that the performance of the "student" was not independent?

good luck

günther

I appreciate your feedback, however please note that my mediocre-looking CAD(in your opinion) is due to my very small amount of experience, being a freshman in HS using CAD for the first time in an educational environment with no prior modeling experience. How does one tell when a line is "fully" defined? I would like to refer to my designs so I can see what you mean.

Also, we have not been taught how to use joints. Most of my knowledge of CAD is self-learned, and I was not even aware of the BORNs technique.
