that's not a mesh body, that's a T-Spline/Form body. Combine only works on solid bodies. You can convert the Form body to a surface body, but even then, you cannot use Combine. You can use Split Body to split the solid using the surface body that results from the Form body. It's not clear what you want the result to be here. Can you clarify?

I was to use sketches on different planes to extrude and cut out sections of the body to clean it up.I do this on other objects with no problem, this body is a new format, so I am having trouble,

Glad to hear! Anyway, here's a screencast, that uses Convert to convert to a surface, and then Thicken to convert to a solid
