here's a screen cast and the resulting file for you to ponder. You'll notice that the first thing I did was dump your history and create an DM model out of the bodies. If your carefull with how you build things, then you can use the history to make the model parametric. If you not then the history will just be a mess and more likely to cause you trouble than help. It might be worth it to you to come back and ask the question "how do I build this thing." You'll likely get lots of opinions.

So, im new to fusion 360 and as far as I can understand, if I want my toaster to have a hinge/lever thing to go up and down i need to assemble a joint, yet all joints I see follow a planar motion and I dont want that, since my toaster has a wider base, its at an angle and therefore needs to have a pathed motion for the hinge so when I turn it into a .fbx file for unity I can have the motion in my game. Any help is appreciated!

The link to my file can be found here: https://a360.co/3bt7gO9

The joint UI/dialogue has 2 tabs. The motion tab allows you to select the type of joint. Perhaps a sider in your case? (I've not looked at the model)

an as-built slider joint will do the job for this.

BUT

You need to revisit your modeling techniques. You should have no errors (yellow features), moves, or scale features in your timeline for a model like this.

Hm, havent heard of a sider before. If you meant slider then i have seen it but have not found a way to be able to implement it acrosss the path since the path is more diagonal. In any case, do yu think you could go more in depth or link me to a tutorial on how to implement it such that it could use it in my circumstance?

I would probably do it something like this. turn on the sketches, right click on them and select "show diminsions." you can change almost everything from there. you have to edit the drafts, chamfers, and fillets directly (double click them in the time line) to change them.
