Chamfer corner over two different components?

Hello dear Fusionists,

when applying a chamfer over a corner that is made of two components or bodies I get different chamfer lenghts.
In case this is a corner made of 1 body its working just fine.

Why is that? Can this be solved without combining the two components/bodies?

It looks like there is some odd geometry in the corner of the brown body. This may be affecting the chamfer.

Combining the bodies will keep the same dimensions for all of the chamfered edges. Entering the same dimensions for each separate body should also keep the chamfers equal.

Normal behaviour.

Check out the pink body. The lower corner chamfer intersection line bisects the shape angle.

The corner angle between the two component is not bisecting the angle, the orange terminates at 90 degrees, pink is about 120 degrees, ( not 90 to itself - both should be the same angle)

So yes, join the 2 together before the chamfer is applied, then cut the orange, to see how it should affect the pink body. (Nothing wrong with the orange one.)
