topic Focus on Applications - Downtime Observations in Fusion Design, Validate & Document Forum

While the pandemic has people wondering the main question _ what should we be doing? I am taking downtime to review how to approach ideas and problems based on successful past criteria and the new tool: generative design.

Complexity Costs but in certain areas of design , complexity has benefit: Energy transfer and storage. This is where we need more surface area - more pockets/cavities/structure to store chemical elements/reduce heat that give us some form of energy. Generative Design does embrace the complex, but the growth of structural elements needs to be more controlled in GD. If software utility could with AI choose the path/centerline to take a profile and build structure at the right level of complexity would be amazing. So I would like to learn how AD will define and build structure along pre-chosen paths/curves/vectors controlling complexity and costs..

Thanks, gfandjwdello@att.net
