Dear Peter,

thanks for your reply. I think I get it even a screencast would have helped.

So I need to wait than to get the hinge misalignment solved?

What I also noticed it, that by closing, opening, changing stuff in the timeline all of the sudden the hinges are in the correct position. It's not reproducable and I haven't found out yet, if there is a kind of pattern behind when it's correctly positioned and when not.

I'm building a cabinet that consist out of several corpus with doors etc.

After having the middle corpus built I'd like to use rectangular pattern to multiply that element.

By doing this the hinges get out position and I don't know why.I only could imagine that this is caused by the as-build join I used to bring both parts of the hinges together.

Any suggestions?

For a better understanding I attach a video and f360 file

The effect you are seeing is a bug, no doubt. @jeff.strater any Idea who we can direct this to?

The assembly is well structured, but there is one thing that needs to be clarified,

The rigid group joint and the as-built rigid joint work on component origins only. No geometry needed 😉

What that means in your design is that all the sub-components in the Korpus Rechts, for example, are joined to each other, but the top-level origin in Korpus Rechts is not attached to anything.

If you now create a rigid group joint and forget to disable the "include child components" option, then you double joint many components. I would not recommend that.

If you disable the option and then create a rigid group joint between all the Korpus Mitte, then they still seem to float, even though they are joined properly. So before you pattern the Korpus Mitte, you should create a rigid group joint (with the option disabled) between the Korpus Mitte and for example the Seitenwand. The instance counter should be only 2.

Hopefully the screencast and my explanation above help.
