topic Insertion of Component into flat pattern not supported yet - When? I need it. in Fusion Design, Validate & Document Forum

I have several sheet metal flat patterns that require the same complex tab construction in different locations. I am not concerned with how the 3D model looks. I know the tabs will be out of the way when the parts are made. I have saved the tab as a model that I can import into the other models and align them where they need to go. I have used the unfold command and attached the tabs that way, but it would be faster and easier to attach them in the flat pattern.

Is this a feature that can be added in the future?

The tabs disappearing when I close out the flat pattern would be fine. As of right now, when the object refolds, sometimes, not every time, Fusion cannot comprehend the bend of these tabs. It shows an error and refuses to finish the pattern. Would this same thing happen with the flat pattern layout?
