hello - i have made a smokebox for a model locomotive and want to simulate rivets. I have attached my smokebox file plus a copy of a similar model i made in Sketchup. Sketchup had a tool that enabled objects (sphere in this case) to be dropped into a line on the surface of a shape at predefined intervals. Does Fusion 360 have a similar feature?.....i want to avoid having to place the rivets by hand.

Thank you "pattern on a path" did the trick.....I am though worried that my shape will not be smooth when I print. I made the shape from a circle and a rectangle and smoothed the intersection. I tried to use the fillet tool to smooth the joints but I am not sure that this has worked...is there a way to smooth the sides before I apply rivets to the sides?

I am also worried that my shape may not have integrity...as I work on it I can still see the components rather than it feel like a solid object....is this normal in Fusion?

Many thanks in advance,
