Hello again @Anonymous !

This can happen for a variety of reasons. If the outcome says it "converged", we finished generating because the shape wasn't changing anymore for some reason or other. If the outcome says it "completed", in my experience it usually means one of two things:

Are all of your preserve bodies still firmly attached to the generated shape? Often the solve stops because it was about to disconnect a preserve from the rest of the body, which breaks the FEA model. If this is happening, add some additional loads to the preserves which are having issues

Sometimes the shape has evolved for so long that we cut it off and return an incomplete result. This can happen when the synthesis resolution is set very high or when your starting shape is very different than the final design. Try running at a lower synthesis resolution or including a smaller starting shape or one with more surface area (think holes through the starting shape).

Hope that helps,

I have run a generative design study. It already coverged at about 20th iteration. However, the min factor of safety is still 970 instead of a minimum 2 that was set. When I checked the stress distribution, the sturcture is still all blue which meabs very low stress. Due to this, I still get a very high mass. I also set the objective to reduce mass. I wonder why the software already stopped.
