The only settings that is showing up and I could change in the Documentation Settings is Units. Isn't there supposed to be other settings I can change? I want to be able to make my dimension lines faded but I can't do it without having it as a setting in the Documentation Settings or the Preferences.

Hi,

Exactly what dimension lines do you mean and why do you want to change them? The Documentation part of fusion

will create Engineering drawings to the appropriate Standard. Is there some special reason you need to change the

Standard or is it asthetic reasons?

If you mean you want to change the lines in sketches then that is in the modelling environment and is possible or

you could simply switch the visibility on and off.

Can you please provide a screen shot of an example to help us work out what you want and why.

Cheers

Andrew

You will not be able to change the opacity of your 2D Drawing dimension lines but you can control the line weights. In the drawing environment, click on document settings and on the first tab you will find Line Widths.

Unfortunately, you did not answer @Drewpan question (design or drawing?).
From your screenshot, however, I assume that you mean dimensioning in design mode.
There is no way to influence the design of dimensions for these.

My note refers to the drawing mode.

If you want to change opacity in sketches. There is a work around.
If you create a component then add a sketch then with the old component visible but dimmed. You can then add the important ones to the new sketch. The are opaque.

not great but i end up there now and then
