All bodies turned pink, cannot undo

I was working on renaming all my bodies so that I could identify them. Sometimes if I misclicked, typing the name would activate keyboard shortcuts. In one case, a dialog came up involving the word "polygon" (I didn't look closely) and I clicked it away. After that my bodies were all pink instead of the appearances assigned to them. Ctrl-Z didn't reverse the effect, it just started undoing all my renaming.

If I pull up the appearance dialog, everything reverts to proper appearance until I close it. Retyping the names to try to get back to the same shortcut hasn't worked.

Why are my bodies all pink and how to I reverse it?

Never mind, it seems to have been Shift + N, "component color cycling." I don't know what the polygon dialog was but it wasn't relevant.

UPDATE: Never mind...I see that was not it. Shift+N was the problem as pointed out!

So I'm having this problem too, but "Mesh Display" is not an option from this ICON. Did this get replaced in a recent release?
