Hi I am encounter this annoying issue and hope I can get a answer from someone.

So I draw a body in Fusion 360, I sketched it, extrude and use regular-pattern (lazy ahh).

Since I used regular pattern, right click Save as DXF to a sketch isnt what I want.

I wanted to laser cut one FACE of an object so I offset a face(kinda "copy new face") and export into AutoCAD supported format (.dwg or .dxf).

And the result as below: I am not sure why the offset surface in AutoCAD is covered in grid (see right hand side image) which makes it unable to laser cut. I cannot solve the problem myself, AutoCAD doesnt allow me to edit feature in offset surface

Create an offset sketch on top of your surface and then use the Save as DXF command on the sketch in the Browser. I am not sure of your described process you used but my DXF is attached.

Hi! I could be wrong but I think the "grid" is the way AutoCAD display a surface body. The grid is only visual to allow the user to see the surface contour in the wireframe display. When the surface body is exported, the grid should not exist.

Many thanks!
