3d curve offset

I have attached my 3d model for your reference i created a 3d curve but i couldn't offset some value how can offset my 3d curve anyone can explain me .

offset is not supported for 3D curves - it is a 2D only operation.

Not only that, but developing this in 3D space instead of using a sheet metal workflow is really needlessly complicated. Aside, of course from these splines having way too many control points.

Hi Fellows,

Offset of 3D curve is topologically equivalent to sweep along the curve with a circular profile. The resulting shape when intersected with a body/surface will produce the respective curve's offset to created face/edge(s).

So, the operation is possible, although it is no single click one.

You'll have a much easier time modeling this when employing a sheet-metal based workflow. Are you familiar with that technique?
