topic Flat pattern not able to select face in Fusion Design, Validate & Document Forum

So I have a very basic assembly where the base is essentially a bent piece of sheet metal and there is a gusset.

The base itself in the assembly, will not form a flat pattern because when I try to select the "stationary face" it simply won't let me use any of the faces on any of the components to make such a flat pattern. I have done this before with other assemblies and haven't had an issue, this is the first time.

Looks like, if you go back to the original assembly the drawing is taken from, you can right click on the component you want flat-patterned, create drawing, and input it into the drawing and sheet you'd like to insert it into. If that makes sense - provided the component has been flat-patterned in the model.

JUST in case anyone else runs into this problem.
