You should go to an Authorized training center to take the test. Prepare yourself, pay for the exam and that's it.

A new online Autodesk Certification beta exam was released, but only a few people who requested it could take it. It may be released to all users soon.

I am ACU in Fusion 360 and one of those who were accepted to take the BETA EXAM. You can get more news about it in the Autodesk Ambassador website, there's a community who share their experiences, challenges, etc.

https://autodeskadvocates.influitive.com/forum/

This exam is conducted by Certiport. You need to create an account and buy an exam voucher worth of $150. Then you need to schedule and date with the local ATC. This exam will be conducted and proctored by local Autodesk's Authorized testing center (ATC). However, Certiport has recently launched some facilities to take the exams from home online. But for that, you need to contact nearby ATC also and they will let you know the procedures.

Accept it as a solution if it helps. Thanks

https://youtu.be/Ar2L2i2A0aY

https://certiport.pearsonvue.com/Certifications/Autodesk/Certifications/Certify#Fusion-360

My comment was less aimed at the price alone, but whether the benefits of having such a certificate outweigh the cost/effort.

For Software Packages such as Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works, which combined cover 90% of the CAD software in professional use today, $150 is certainly not a large investment and it might give an Engineer at the beginning of his career an edge.

I am not sure I can see the benefit of such a certificate yet for Fusion 360.

I am not an educator and have little insight into what hiring managers are looking for nowadays. My guess is that these certificates are useful if you want to work for larger engineering firms. However, larger engineering firms usually are engaged in larger projects that require mature and feature-rich engineering software, which Fusion 360 isn't quite yet (IMHO).

For a newly minted graduate with little or no experience - a certification on their resume might keep it from being immediately tossed in the circular file - so for them it might have value (but $90??? for user? $5 or $10 for students, maybe). For experienced person, certification not be a significant factor.
