array this feature

I can not array this gusset in a circular pattern. I know there is something that i am missing or have done incorrectly. Can anyone help me out?

Jimmy, always best if you can upload your file so it can be checked as an image doesn`t tell anybody what you have/haven`t done, go to File>Export>Save as f3d format to your computer and then attach it to your next post.

Meanwile I have done a small example for you to try out, you can select the Circular Pattern from the Timeline and Edit it and have a play doing different numbers of Fillets. The Fillet has to be a "Stand alone" Body, it can be joined to the main Body later after the Pattern is done and make sure you have the Axis correct that you are doing the Pattern around, in the attached example I created everything on the Z axis centre.

Without a file to work with this is all I have for now 🙂

thank you for your reply, here is the file. when i array this gusset, it looks like it has a placed the 10 gussets around the part but when i hit enter they disappear.

OK, it as I thought, when you did the "Extract"for the Gusset shape you left it to default to "join" so it became part of the main body so can`t be moved/copied/patterened on it`s own, I have rolled the extrude back and done the circular pattern for you, all you need to do now if you are happy with what is there you can use the "Combine" facility to join them all together 🙂 🙂 🙂

No, it does not.

That gusset/fillet feature can be patterned without a problem.

Sure it can. Pattern Feature. (Edit: I see @TrippyLighting was faster typing...)

This part is poorly modeled from the beginning.

Here is my version:

I created one user parameter, which will allow you to add more holes and gussets by simply editing the number of instances.

The previous posts had models attached. If you proceed step by step through the timeline you should be able to see how this can be approached.
