thread size issue

I have made a nut with a tread however I can only choose 8 mm or 9 mm. The issue is that 8 is small and 9 is too large for the existing thread I am designing it for. What I need is something 8.5 mm but i can't figure out how to achieve this. Can anyone show me how to do this?

Are you going to use custom threads repeatedly?

An option is editing the XML file that holds those information:

You would have to model that manually or do as @LeonardoBN suggests.

Are you 3d printing the nut and it's too tight? If you just need it over size for printing you can use a non uniform scale to increase the diameter.

See attached file. In the parameter manager I set ScalF to 8.5/8 to scale up the 8mm thread to 8.5.
