topic Navigation controls in Fusion API and Scripts Forum

Hello, I am trying to make a 3d mouse by myself since I do not have the budget to buy an original one, since I design in 3d as a hobby, and I wanted to know what kind of inputs the original mouse sends to fusion 360 to be able to rotate and move the camera because of the environment, since for now I can only move it with the typical emulators that assign mouse and keyboard functions to joystick buttons, and well seeing that a 3d mouse is plug and play I would like to know what type of command it sends to fusion.

Or if you know how I can assign the navigation controls to a joystick or controller it would be nice too.
Many thanks in advance.

The 3D mouse is tightly integrated with Fusion and isn't just sending commands to Fusion. I think it "might" be possible to write your own it would be quite a bit of work and will involve using the Application.activeViewport property to get the active viewport and then using the Viewport.camera object to be able to manipulate the camera.
