If the ability to view 3d model without having to install a 3d viewer/application is what you are looking for, then in my opinion you can use Fusion360's Public Share, which is way better than pdfs. Unlike extracted pdfs, Public Share links don't go out of date and doesn't even need a pdf viewer application installed!

This vid gives a good intro to Fusion360's public share function

It has been suggested by my colleagues, particularly in marketing that 3DPDF's would be helpful to them, especially when putting documents together for clients or potential clients so I am currently looking at what would be the best for my company to buy for me to use.

It looks like there are two PDF apps for Fusion on the App Store. I don't have any experience with either one of them so I don't have an opinion if one is better than the other or if they work at all. They both have a preview version that will allow you to try them out first.

https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=2696557001324213058&appLang=en&os=Win64

https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=5133934400265013847&appLang=en&os=Win64

There also seems to be another one too https://apps.autodesk.com/FUSION/en/Detail/Index?id=2676993632973010776&appLang=en&os=Mac but trying to get a view seems to be quite difficult.
