Tessalate feature api/ surface body support

Trying to tessalate surface bodies with the tessalate feature gives an error, while the tessalate command succesfully tessalates the same surface body, which makes me think that the funtionality is there, but there is an exception that prevents using it through api.
Here is the error i get:
File "C:\.../Api/Python/packages\adsk\fusion.py", line 69867, in createInput

return _fusion.TessellateFeatures_createInput(self, bodies)

RuntimeError: 3 : Only solid bodies are supported.

In the Autodesk Fusion API, the TessellateFeatures.createInput() method explicitly requires solid bodies and does not natively accept surface bodies. Because the interactive GUI command supports surface bodies, this discrepancy is a known API limitation.
