I created a plugin that hooks into the parameter table and allows the user to update values in real time.

See video for a much clearer understanding.

I've included the zip file for anyone who wants to giver er a shot.

1. Download the zip,

2. Open in File Explorer

3. Drag the folder out onto your desktop

4. Open Fusion (if not already)

5. Navigate to the Utilities Tab

6. Under Scripts and Add-ins (Shift - S, will open this dialog from any Tab)

7. Navigate to where the folder is located and install.

Pretty easy.

Let me know of this is of any value to anyone else, also feedback.

Please and thank you

Note: 03-30-26 Updated, added a couple of usability features.

Thanks for the input!

Another thing to note as well, I've done my best to limit the panel so it can only resize so far across the width otherwise it will just take over the screen super fast.

So be careful LOL

Really nice! One of the abilities your Add-In is to add the ability to keep the Parameters window open during at all times. You have given the user the ability to select any parameters to show in the table, which is wonderful. I would love to see an control to automatically select "Favorites" to populate the visible parameters. The only other thing is since your dialog box has a very dark background, it would be nice to use "yellow" instead of the "forest green" color.

Thank your for your efforts.

Thanks for the input, there are still a few tweaks I plan on making.

For one the dialog box needs to have limits on how large it can be resized.

The color scheme for sure, I'd like for it to pick up on the current theme.

Thanks for checking it out, I plan on an update this week.

Autodesk has been sitting on this for such a long time. They totally should have done this - so thank you Terry for picking up that ball, proving there is a need and that it is possible.

I tried to add in theming support to hook into the current Fusion environment theme.

No luck so far.

However I did include a light/dark theme button at the top right corner along with a favorites button.

It will populate the drop down menu with only the users favorites.

I hope you enjoy it, thanks for the suggestions! 🙂

Love the addition of the Favorites icon, this is where I get all my parameters and this really helps to list them quickly. I like the Light/Dark theme icon as well but I have a problem making it stick. Every time is open, set the color, and close it the next time I open the command it reverts. It also reverts if I select the Refresh icon. You are definitely on the track of developing a very nice Add-In. I include an Animated GIF to illustrate the Light/Dark problem.

Edit: As I used your Add-In today, I noticed one other thing. The Current value boxes will not fill in when you press the Refresh icon. They only will fill in after you enter a value to one or more parameters and touch the Apply icon. It makes it difficult to remember the last parameter value. I do like the green color against the dark background and the black color if in the light background.

Thanks,

Your Add-In is very good and valuable. You asked for any suggestions and I came up with one that I think is very important. Often you use use the Derive command to share Parameters between Part and Assembly models. These come into the model and must be "elevated" into the Parameter Favorites to be usable. Once there you can used them as you would any Parameter. Your Add-In does not detect these even though they are Favorites. Even though the model is a single part file, the Derived file makes it an F3Z file. Below are a couple of screen captures to show this. I have attach the Part Design model where this is the case and the screen captures were taken from. These types of Parameters may be out of reach but I wanted to mention them.

The Forum will sometimes not accept a F3Z file so I had to ZIP it first.
